The Great Escape Poppin' Palooza - October 16th

For those of you who are able to attend, we hope you are excited about the attempt to create the World's Largest Popcorn Ball!

 

Your tickets will be available for pickup on October 16th at the Boy Scouts information table.  Cub Scouts can pick up their complimentary ticket individually by providing their pack number (8005) and the name of their Pack Committee Chairman (Rick Weerts).

 

Schedule of Events

 

9:00am: Gates open for Scouts and their guests

9:30am: Opening Ceremony and Flag Raising

10am-9pm: Building of the World's Largest Popcorn Ball

12pm-9pm: Park open to general guests/Rides open

 

Below are a few reminders to ensure that your day is nothing but fun!

 
  • Early entry (Starting at 9:00 a.m.) is available for you and your guest to allow you to pass through security and get to the Opening Ceremonies that begin at 9:30 a.m. in the North Woods Picnic Grove. (Rides, shows, and attractions open at 12:00pm) Please keep in mind that you will need to pass thru the toll booths and pay for parking before you enter at the gates. Car parking charge is $10.00 or $15.00 for buses.
  • No food or beverage, with the exception of a sealed, unopened water bottle or plastic container for refill will be allowed into The Great Escape.
  • Don't forget to have each person bring LOTS of pre-popped popcorn, one 5 pound bag of sugar, and 1 quart of corn syrup with you in order to be able to help with the attempt to create the World's Largest Popcorn Ball! Those who bring all 3 items will be entered into a drawing to win a 2011 Season pass!
